To control our talents, mind, motivation, “well designed persona” is very important. It is sort of like looking in a mirror before you go outside. And masquerading my real identity (like my real face or name, affiliation, profession) can protect my real (small) properties.

Some other avatar: An idol girl (in real time live) Ideally, it may attract public interests but it’s already not a special thing. Female outfits and hairstyles have varieties. Technically, recent realtime physics simulators can express hair and skirts. It may be a tech feature.
